Well, here it is week four and I'm still alive and kicking. Of course, there are still more challenges than there are successes but that's to be expected I guess. The small successes feel so huge, though. Today I received word that my first blog on Project Eve is a featured blog for this week. Not sure what that means exactly but the editors of the site liked it I guess. Anyway, it warmed my heart.
I don't know where the time goes when I'm writing. I don't think I'm a slow writer but I certainly get caught up in my own world and the temporal world flies by. I so want the next third of my life to be devoted to writing in all the forms I enjoy. I want to branch out and create new formats for my stories. I have so many dreams I sometimes think I spend too much time dreaming and not enough writing.
I love to write in many different forms but long to create at least one BELOVED CHARACTER before I finish my writing challenges. You know the ones that live within the reader's heart for ages. The ones that become as close to you as your friends, your family. The ones that teach us something about the quality of life, the human condition, and the content of our souls. I know he or she is in there. I just have to find the right doorway.
